Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Chef Ruben brings bold flavors and a passion for quality after transitioning from a professional soccer career into the culinary world. Executive Chef Ruben Gonzales brings passion, resilience, and bold flavors to every plate at 12Sixty. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Chef Ruben’s journey began on the soccer field. A promising professional career was cut short by injury, leading him to discover his true calling in the kitchen. Trained in culinary school on scholarship, he quickly rose through the ranks, leading kitchens in major Southern California hotels and acclaimed independent restaurants. At 12Sixty, Chef Ruben elevates classic pub fare with creative techniques, premium ingredients, and uncompromising madefrom-scratch execution.
